THREE TOWNHOME MODELS OPEN AT RIVER PLACE IN SOUTH ELGIN River Place in South Elgin recently opened three new models, including a Fieldstone design. Three new models recently opened at River Place, Wyndham Deerpoint Homes' new community of 46 townhomes located on the banks of the Fox River in South Elgin. The first model available for touring is the 1,568-square-foot Waterford. This end-unit features spectacular views of the Fox River and has three bedrooms and two-and-a-half-baths. The design boasts an open floor plan with a spacious kitchen, dining room and great room as well as a first-floor powder room. It also has a storage/utility basement. "The Waterford is great for entertaining and the design is very flexible," said Diane Robinson, director of marketing for Wyndham Deerpoint Homes. "As modeled, it offers three bedrooms upstairs, but a buyer could customize the plan as a two-bedroom with two master bathrooms if desired." The second and third models are both 2,000-square-foot Fieldstone designs that showcase three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a second-floor laundry room, an optional dual master suite, and a finished lower-level. The Fieldstone also offers two first-floor plans. Depending on the plan, basements and nine-foot first-floor ceilings are standard, too. Each townhome's exterior features cedar architectural trim, partial brick and low-maintenance vinyl siding, distinctive pitches, seamless aluminum gutters and down spouts and a professional landscape package. Prices range from $222,500 to $238,000 (all prices subject to change without notice). Nominal association fees are approximately $130 a month, which include lawn care, driveway upkeep, snow removal, association management services, building insurance and maintenance.
